- Atlanta-based Callaway Partners, an accounting professional services firm focused on project management and staff augmentation, announced that Keith Keller joined the firm as a national partner and will lead Callaway's internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley and financial services practices. Prior to joining Callaway Partners, Keller served as deputy chief auditor and senior vice president at Wachovia Corporation in Charlotte. He was responsible for managing internal audit for all operating businesses of the organization including retail banking, corporate and investment banking, capital and wealth management, operations and information technology. Previously, Keller was in charge of the Sarbanes-Oxley and internal audit practices within the enterprise risk services group for the Southeast at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Atlanta. - Creative Enterprises International, Inc., the marketer and distributor of Skinny Water(r), a dietary supplement designed to facilitate consumers' weight loss efforts, announced the appointment of Michael Reis as its new Chief Operating Officer. Since April 2003, Reis operates a consulting practice through M.R. Reis Co., pursuant to which he provides business and accounting consulting services. Reis began his career as an accountant with Deloitte & Touche and thereafter held executive positions with a number of companies including serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Public Gas Co., the Chief Financial Officer of Waste Masters, Inc., the President of Pollution Control Industries and a Senior Vice President of ENSI. - Cytogen appointed Kevin Bratton as new chief financial officer. Bratton worked at The JPM Company, where he served as chief financial officer from 2000 to 2002 and as director of external reporting from 1999 to 2000. - Ilypsa, Inc., a privately-held biopharmaceutical company pioneering novel non-absorbed drugs for renal and metabolic disorders, announced the appointment of William D. Waddill as Chief Financial Officer. Waddill brings more than 15 years of experience as a CFO managing the funding and finances of numerous venture-backed and more mature life science companies. Most recently, Mr. Waddill served as the principal of Square One Finance, a financial consulting business. Prior to Square One Finance, Waddill held positions at Exelixis, Inc., most recently as Senior Director, Finance, and served as CFO of Medical Science Partners, a venture capital firm in Boston. He received a BS in accounting from the University of Illinois, and certification as a public accountant after work at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte and Touche.
