  • Freddie Mac named Anthony S. ("Buddy") Piszel to serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Nov. 13. Piszel will serve as a member of the McLean, Va.-based mortgage company's senior executive leadership team and report directly to chief operating officer Eugene M. McQuade. Piszel joins Freddie Mac from Health Net, where he has served as CFO since August 2004. Piszel has also worked as an audit partner with Deloitte & Touche and as a practice fellow with the Financial Accounting Standards Board. (Source: TheStreet.com, 10/16/2006)
  • Burr Wolff, L.P., a nationwide, full-service provider of state and local tax reduction solutions, announced that David Hurrell has joined the Company as property tax regional vice president in the Midwest. Hurrell will manage client accounts, recruit top property tax negotiators to his team, and lead business development efforts within his 13-state region, based from the firm's Cleveland office. Prior to joining Burr Wolff, Hurrell was a practice leader in Deloitte & Touche's North Central region, where he led a group of compliance and appeals professionals covering seven states since 2002.   • Bridge Capital Holdings of San Jose promoted Tom Sa to executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Sa is former chief financial officer at Central Coast Bancorp.   • Kei Advisors, LLC, an investor relations and business advisory firm, has appointed James M. Culligan as Vice President. Mr. Culligan will be responsible for capital market research, client management and financial community liaison. Before joining Kei Advisors, Culligan was Director of Business Development and Client Relations at LaBranche & Co., a leading New York Stock Exchange specialist firm.
